CHASNZ (Construction Health and Safety New Zealand) is a not-for-profit organisation leading the drive for safer, healthier workplaces across the construction industry. We bring together industry leaders, contractors and workers to set consistent standards, share best practice and deliver practical tools like ConstructSafe.

ConstructSafe Testing South Island

Based in Dunedin, ConstructSafe Testing South Island covers all of the South Island with regular trips through to Invercargill, Central Otago, Oamaru and Timaru.

Glenn and Angela are the husband-and-wife team behind ConstructSafe Testing South Island, bringing together years of experience and a shared passion for helping people. With a strong background in business ownership, they’ve built and managed a variety of ventures over the years, giving them the knowledge and confidence to deliver results for their clients.

"We found that there weren't a lot of specialised testing facilities here in the south so have met the demand for a lot of companies. We find our clients are enjoying our quick availability for assessments and less travel expenses being locally based" they explained.

Glenn focuses on management and client relationships, ensuring every assessment runs smoothly and customers feel well supported. Angela looks after the administration, keeping everything organised and running efficiently behind the scenes as well as during the assessments.

Together, they balance each other’s strengths and work seamlessly as a team – combining professionalism, trust, and a personal touch that sets their business apart.
